Our zero-tolerance policy

Supplier due diligence and audits
We recognise that supplier relationships are an important area of risk management. Before working with new suppliers, we carry out proportionate due diligence to assess their labour standards, ethical practices, and compliance history. We expect concerns to be handled seriously, sensitively, and confidentially wherever possible.
No worker, contractor, or supplier will suffer retaliation for raising a genuine concern in good faith. We aim to investigate all reports promptly and to take appropriate action where needed. If there is an immediate risk to a person’s safety, we will treat the matter as urgent and take the necessary steps to protect those affected.
Training and awareness
We support our policy through staff awareness and training where relevant. Managers and those involved in supplier selection or oversight are expected to remain alert to warning signs, such as unusual labour arrangements, restricted worker freedom, unexplained deductions, poor accommodation conditions, or reluctance to provide information. By increasing awareness, we improve our ability to prevent, identify, and address modern slavery risks.
Annual review
This statement and the controls behind it are reviewed annually to ensure they remain effective and appropriate to our business activities. The review considers any reported concerns, supplier audit findings, changes in legal requirements, and lessons learned during the year. Where needed, we update our procedures, strengthen supplier checks, and improve staff guidance.
